SPA THERAPIST

Onboard our luxury river cruise ships

As a Spa Therapist on board a river cruise ship, you are responsible for delivering exceptional spa experiences to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and luxurious environment. You will provide a range of professional beauty and massage treatments, promote spa services and products, and contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of each guest.

Your main responsibilities:

  1. Guest Experience & Service

    • Greet guests professionally and create a welcoming spa atmosphere.

    • Explain spa services, packages, and promotions clearly and confidently.

    • Customize treatments to suit individual guest needs and preferences.

    • Ensure guests enjoy a seamless spa journey, from arrival to departure.

    • Maintain a courteous and approachable attitude at all times.

  2. Treatment Delivery

    • Perform a variety of facial and body treatments, including massages (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy), manicures, and pedicures.

    • Use expert knowledge of skin biology, cosmetic chemistry, and therapy techniques to ensure high-quality service.

    • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and hygienic treatment room.

    • Keep accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

  3. Product Knowledge & Sales

    • Promote and recommend Natura Bissé and other spa products to guests.

    • Assist in achieving revenue goals through effective sales and rebooking strategies.

    • Monitor and control spa product inventory.

  4. Operational Support

    • Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of treatments to avoid guest delays.

    • Support onboard operations when required (e.g., gangway duties, luggage assistance).

    • Participate in loading/unloading procedures and safety drills as per company policies.

  5. Safety & Compliance

    • Use personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols.

    • Properly store equipment when not in use.

    • Participate in all mandatory safety trainings and emergency drills.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel spa or onboard a cruise ship.

  • Proven skills in massage therapy, facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish, German, or French is a plus.

  • Sales experience is an asset.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Warm, service-minded, and professional demeanor.

  • EU passport holder
