Job description


As a Suite Attendant on board a river cruise ship, you are responsible for delivering the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and guest service within assigned guest suites and corridors. Your role requires attention to detail, efficiency, discretion, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations in a luxury environment.


Your main responsibilities: 


1. Guest Suite Service

  • Provide morning and turn-down service daily, including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, replenishment of amenities and towels, and removal of trash.
  • Deliver guest items such as gifts, invitations, and daily programs.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and feedback.

2. Cleanliness and Organization

  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned suites, corridors, and lockers in accordance with Good Hygiene Practice procedures.
  • Keep cleaning trolleys and lockers tidy and well-stocked at all times.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely stored when not in use.

3. Sanitation and Hygiene

  • Follow the Housekeeping Sanitation Program and complete all sanitation logs as per policy.
  • Use correct chemicals and follow cleaning procedures in guest and isolation rooms.
  • Sanitize isolation rooms according to company health protocols.

4. Communication and Maintenance

  • Report any maintenance issues or guest room deficiencies to the Assistant or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Log and report lost and found items as per company policy.
  • Greet guests by name and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

5. Team Support

  • Assist with laundry, public, and crew areas when needed.
  • Participate in loading and unloading procedures.
  • Support A and B watch duties as assigned.



Job requirements


Requirements


  • Previous experience in housekeeping in a luxury hotel or cruise ship environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum 70% on onboard language test).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, friendly, guest-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • readiness to wrk and travel
