Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the support and enhancement of the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and services across fleet and office departments. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical applications, supporting end-users and coordinating with external vendors.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor, support and troubleshoot core IT systems, including servers, networks, and business applications.
· Plan and implement IT projects that support fleet operational needs.
· Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
· Collaborate with department heads to analyze IT needs and provide tailored technology solutions.
· Manage hardware and software procurement, asset management, and lifecycle planning.
· Coordinate with third-party service providers and software vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective solutions.
· Train staff on software usage, cybersecurity best practices, and IT policies.
Key Skills & Tools:
· Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and enterprise IT systems.
· Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint and mobile device management tools.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices.
· Project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
· Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience.
· Familiarity and experience with administering Cruise Line Property Management and/or Hotel systems and supporting the fleet/office users:
o Marine Exchange MXP PMS, POS, PEM – mobile and desktop applications (hardware and software administration and user support).
o TV, VOD and Digital Signage Systems
o Audio and Background Music Systems
o Hotel Lock systems
